Volunteer Role Descriptions
Step into the vibrant world of our learners as a Classroom Assistant! From assisting with creative projects to helping organize classroom activities, your support will help our students shine. Whether it’s reading a story, helping with crafts, or lending a hand during centers, this role lets you experience the joy of learning alongside our little ones.
Become a lunchtime hero! As a Lunch Duty Assistant, you’ll help ensure the students have a safe, happy, and smooth lunchtime experience. Assist with handing out trays, opening those tricky ketchup packets, and keeping the cafeteria lively yet orderly.
Relive your playground glory days! As a Recess Assistant, you’ll help keep recess fun and safe. Whether you’re organizing a game of kickball, tying countless shoelaces, or simply keeping an eye out, this role is all about ensuring our students have the best part of their day. Bonus: Free vitamin D and lots of laughter!
Volunteer Commitment
All families are asked to volunteer 10 hours per year to help build a strong and connected school community.
If you’d rather focus your energy on a single, memorable event, consider joining the planning team for Rake-a-Thon, the Gala, or Oktoberfest! Participation in pre-planning meetings and assisting with the event itself will fulfill your entire volunteer commitment for the year.
Important Reminder: Before heading to your volunteer duty, please check in with Mrs. Teixeira at the front office and sign in. This ensures we know you’re here and ready to make a difference!
Make a difference, have fun, and be part of the action!
